How to Write Project Proposal

Hello Guys, 
I'm going to show you "How to write a project proposal". This instructions are for beginners. This summary will focus on programming and implementation projects. But the general ideas can be applied to most proposal. This post will help you to write a proposal within 2 to 5 pages. This is for those people or students, who want to write a project proposal for class assignment purpose or something like that. 

So lets start writing a Project Proposal with some easy steps...

The following is a sample for a project proposal. You don't have to write all points. Only take those which are related to your project. 


1. Introduction ( 1 or 2 Paragraph)
  • Use motivational sentence. 
  • Summarize the problem between 2 sentence.
  • Summarize the solution between 2 sentence.
  • Describe, how you design your rest of proposal.

2. Motivation (1 to 3 Paragraph) 
  • What is the history of the problem?
  • Why is this problem interesting?
  • When and why does the problem occur?
  • What is the current status of the problem?
  • Are there any similar systems or solution to the one you proposed? If so, then give the reference and briefly explain your point.
  • Add your possible improvements, which can solve the problem more easily. 


3. Project Summary (1 Paragraph)
  • Write a simple summary of your project. Do not drive into detail or timeline. 


4. Project Details 
  • Architecture and Environment (2 to 3 Paragraph with figure or photos)
- Describe the project environment.
- Add figure, diagram, flow chart, photo or anything to support your project.
- What logistics and tools you want to use for your project.
  • Implementation Issues and Challenges (2 to 3 Paragraph)
What will be the most difficult issues and challenges in the implementation?

- How are you using your tools or logistics for solving problem.
- What makes your project unique? Why should someone fund your project?
  • Deliverables (3 to 5 Paragraph. Also you can use some points from description)
- What will your project produce time to time? Like reports or somthing similar.
Describe in relative detail the features of each of the project's products.
- Emphasize on "What your project contribute or achieves" 
  • Timeline (1 Paragraph)
- Provide your estimated time, date, durations, time frame, project deliverables, important dates etc. 


5. Conclusion (1 Paragraph)
  • Summarize the project including the problem, motivation, and proposed solution, and re-state important (planned) contributions.

6. Reference 
  • Use the references, links or other thinks that helps you to make your project proposal.
